Everything you need to know about using the MemeForge editor.
Open the Meme Generator, choose a template or upload your own image, then add text, emoji, or stickers using the tools on the left. When you're happy with it, use the Download button to save your meme.
Yes. In the editor's Image tool, you can click to browse your device or drag and drop a PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP file directly onto the upload area.
Yes. Once your meme is ready, use the Download Meme button to export it as a PNG or JPG file, sized to your finished canvas.
No. MemeForge is a front-end-only demo with no backend server, so uploaded images are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent anywhere. Favorites and recently used templates are stored only in your browser's local storage.
Yes. The editor's layout adapts to smaller screens, stacking the tool, canvas and settings panels so everything stays touch-friendly.
Yes. Use "Add Text Box", or the Top Text / Bottom Text presets, as many times as you like. Each text box can be moved, resized, rotated and styled independently.
Not yet in this demo. The GIF Maker page shows the intended layout for a future feature, since real GIF encoding requires additional processing beyond what's implemented here.
